School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson)

School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) provides public education to nearly 16,500 students, 18 percent of whom are of Aboriginal Ancestry, living in Kamloops and many rural communities, including Chase, Barriere, Logan Lake, Pinantan Lake, Sun Peaks, Heffley Creek, Westwold, Savona and Clearwater. The majority of our district's residents live in Kamloops.

Our district covers more than 27,000 kilometres and busses about 4,300 students more than 9,100 kilometres every day. We have 34 elementary schools, one middle school, 10 secondary schools, one Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 school, two alternate education programs and one distance education school. 

We employ 2,650 people and have an annual budget of $223 million.
